Kirkland
Kirkland is a waterfront city in King County, Washington. It is the 12th largest city in the state covering a total area of over 22 square miles and has a population of around 92,000. The city is bordered by Lake Washington on its west, Redmond on its east, Bellevue on its south, and the cities of Kenmore, Woodinville, and Bothell on its north. Stunning lakeside views of Lake Washington are enhanced by Mount Rainier. Its residents enjoy a tightly-knit community in a suburb not too far from the greater metropolitan area.

Easily accessible: Kirkland is accessible from Seattle via State Route 520 and is easily accessed from neighboring cities via I-405. 20 miles from the King County / Boeing Field International Airport and 21 miles from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport provide easy access to domestic and international travel.
A plethora of activities: There are plenty of things to do in Kirkland for people of all ages. Enthusiasts can go bird watching at one of its many parks, but a popular spot is Juanita Bay Park which is adjacent to a protected wildlife habitat. There is no shortage of parks and trails scattered across the city, from Peter Kirk Park located in the heart of the city to the Bridle Trails State Park just outside of the downtown area. For more adventure, there are several water activities to do in Lake Washington, from kayaking to paddleboarding. Of course, there are also plenty of shopping boutiques, restaurants, and cafes on its downtown waterfront.
Great schools: Most of Kirkland is under the Lake Washington School District, with some parts serviced by the Bellevue and Northshore School Districts. Both public and private schools are highly rated. Kirkland has two colleges: Northwest University and Lake Washington Technical College.
